But to save on delivery, I wanted to order more PCBs at once&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, I brought to life my old projects. Oh, and I want one headphone very-good-quality hi-end output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The worst thing, I want to control all remotely, with some good nice knobs (and VFDs!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I preselected some things, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>TPA6120 as high-quality current-feedback headphone amplifier<\/li><li>TPS3116 as 2.1 amplifier<\/li><li>TDA7719 as selector + sound tuning &amp; subwoofer filter<\/li><li>The amplifier for the kitchen is still open, but I think it will be TPS3116 too<\/li><li>For the headphone selector relays will be used<\/li><li>And for headphone volume relay volume controller will be used too<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now I struggle with voltage supply for this big zoo. Some things need 200W 24V, some 100W 12V, 5V, 3.3V, 10V&#8230; you name it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">VFD are worst, they need ~3VAC for filament, and also ~30VDC for grid\/segment drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vwlowen.co.uk\/arduino\/vfd\/vfd-clock.htm\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.vwlowen.co.uk\/arduino\/vfd\/vfd-clock.htm\" target=\"_blank\">long<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevfdcollective.com\/blog\/vfdclockdesign-pt1\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.thevfdcollective.com\/blog\/vfdclockdesign-pt1\" target=\"_blank\">long<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/insanity4004.blogspot.com\/2017\/03\/new-vfd-filament-driver.html?m=1\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/insanity4004.blogspot.com\/2017\/03\/new-vfd-filament-driver.html?m=1\" target=\"_blank\">long<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/radiolaba.ru\/microcotrollers\/lampovye-chasy-s-gps-modulem.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/radiolaba.ru\/microcotrollers\/lampovye-chasy-s-gps-modulem.html\" target=\"_blank\">very<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.programmersought.com\/article\/29514517859\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.programmersought.com\/article\/29514517859\/\" target=\"_blank\">long<\/a> googling, I selected push-pull driver SN6505 to drive the self-made trafo and generate some voltages from USB 5V. Also I selected PT6315\/PT6311 to drive the displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I plan to use this driver to generate \u00b110V for headphone amplifier too&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, now I need to learn more about push-pull and self-made trafos, I haven&#8217;t done this before&#8230; I started some design in KiCad, and understood, what I have no idea about how big\/complex\/challenging this trafo will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I used a very nice Lite-CalcIT soft and &#8220;call a friend&#8221;
